Celebrate good times ...

After months (6 actually) of heartache and grief the Tuttle family finally had a reason to celebrate.... and boy did we!!  On March 9th my S.I.L. Traci became Mrs. Jeroen van der Ploeg and we were lucky to be apart of the celebration!!  Despite some "minor" mishaps and impromptu changes it was gorgeous.  Not to mention the reception was a blast!!!!

Loved getting to spend time with everyone and even was able to squeeze some time in with some of my friends... though of course didn't get to see everyone. :-( Next time!

Baby Hannah!!! She is so beautiful!!

I literally sat like this for over a hour looking at her!!

As you can see she really loved taking pictures with Sarah & I!
Congrats to Sarah and Isaac!! Love you both and your little girl!

Mid-day refreshments for all! This is the face what Liz makes when I pull out my camera!

My mother-in-law working on Dudley's shirt so she could sew it into Traci's dress.  This weekend was filled with reminders of him and it was CLEAR he WAS there.  There were definitely tear jerking moments but all honored him and shared the relationship him and Traci had, it was awesome!

work work work!

At this point I was not contributing to anything of value... hey, I was asked to take pictures!

Helping do some last minute wedding "Stuff".
Kailee and Tio were giving each other so much grief about who was slower in our assembly line!

Packing up the cow bells!!!

My beautiful K.Rae and I at rehearsal

Karla & Liz.  This was the first time I was able to spend time with Jeroen's family and I really enjoyed getting to know them! Or my new favorite saying "learn you".

The bride and groom!

The bride and flower girl! Both so pretty!

Pate and "Wiz" playing during rehearsal

My hubby and I

Love this girl so much!!

Pate was thoroughly impressed by Manda's toys/games!!!

I was so glad I got to spend time with my friend! It has been way too long since we've spent more than just a lunch with each other. Wish it could have been more.

I am sure they are going to love that I posted these of them... but here are the guys chowing down on some fabulous green chile wings! lol

Bridal breakfast, the decor was very pretty.

I love this picture of Traci, this is when she saw Kailee's hair.

"I look like a fairy princess!!"

Relaxation

my MIL getting all dolled up!

It was so sad that this table had so many of our loved ones names on it, and all within the past couple months.  Traci honored them very well though and I am sure they were each watching.

Just waiting for his duties to begin

Pate walked in and said "Princess!!" It made her night!
Both the kids did awesome during the wedding and actually during all of the wedding activities!!

This flower girl was tired of taking pictures

They were dancing fools! I wish I'd taken my camera or at least more phone pictures during the reception.  It was a blast and we got to spend time with our friends who are nothing less than family!!!
We had a great time!

You know it's a good party with the lights come up and the bride
says "everyone come back to the bridal suite".

Sisters!
I discovered that my husband is the ultimate photo bomber!

Had a great time getting to know Tamra this weekend!

Family!

They are pretty cute!

Kailee turned in earlier than expected so she wasn't able to dance with Traci at the reception...
so they danced the next morning!!

These pictures just make me laugh.....

"Who's shoe is that???"

Groom's cake!

Breakfast at Mesilla Valley Kitchen!

Huevos Ranchero with Green. YUM!!!
(wouldn't be a trip to LC without some food pictures!)

My 5,000 pictures totally have more I want to post but will spare you don't do this weekend justice, it was great.  Sure,... like all family functions (especially weddings that everyone wants to turn out perfect) there were moments of stress/tears/frustration but more than that there was a lot of laughter, great times, LOVE, family, playing, friends, and a new found respect for each other.  Not to mention we're welcoming a new brother to the family! All in all (at least in my opinion) it was wonderful.  We were able to spend time with family that means so much to us and because of distance we don't see as often. The kids were thrilled to be surrounded by people who love them so much and are always willing to swing them around and PLAY non-stop!

Playing with the kids

Reading up on all the safety rules on the way home

Being in Las Cruces, no matter who I see or what I do is always wonderful.  It's just a comfortable there.
